Thank you to our schools, consultants, and affiliates for registering for SBSA 2018! We now have a full conference, and we look forward to seeing you in March in beautiful Staunton, Virginia.
Conference registrations have topped 175! With a cap of 200 attendees, we are well on our way to having another fabulous event. Session proposals have been streaming in, however, we have extended our proposal deadline to January 15th. Presenting at SBSA is a perfect way to share expertise and lessons learned. All attendees (schools, affiliates and consultants) are encouraged to submit a proposal. Simply complete the form: www.sbsaonline.org/conference/present.
After only one month of open registration, SBSA is proud to share that the attendee list is growing quickly! We have 130 registrations in hand, including 35 from educational consultants! Special note: our conference size is limited to 200 attendees.
Stuart Hall School has just shared the good news that Pat Bassett, former President of NAIS, visionary and leader of independent schools, will be give the key note address at the 2018 SBSA Conference. A little known fact is that Pat actually began his educational career at Stuart Hall!
We are thrilled to announce that Carney O'Brien, Dean of Enrollment Management at Chatham Hall School, has joined our Board of Directors. Carney, now in her fourth year at Chatham Hall, has extensive experience with small boarding schools, including tenure as a secondary school placement officer at Indian Mountain. Carney also serves on the council for the Erdmann Institute for Enrollment Management. Welcome, Carney!
